Public service interpreting

Public service interpreting involves interpreting between a representative of an authority or company and a client. A public service interpreter interprets everything that is said during the event without leaving anything out. Public service interpreting is carried out as consecutive interpreting at the client's premises or over the phone. The interpreter interprets in both language directions.

Court interpreting

In court interpreting, the statements of the parties involved are always interpreted consecutively, but general sections may also be interpreted simultaneously, i.e., in real time. Court interpreters ensure that all participants receive a fair trial and are part of the legal protection of the parties involved. The interpreter interprets everything that is said in the courtroom, without changing or omitting anything.

Telephone and remote interpretation

Telephone interpreting takes place over the phone. The service enables conversations between people who do not have a common language. Remote interpreting can also be done using tools such as Teams or Zoom.

Conference interpreting

Conference interpreting is mainly provided for large events, conferences and international events with a large audience. The interpreter works from a booth and interprets simultaneously using interpreting equipment.

Negotiation interpreting

Negotiation interpreting is usually done as consecutive interpreting, where the interpreter interprets in both directions. The interpreter is a participant in the negotiations and helps make sure everyone can take part equally. In large meetings, it is also possible to use simultaneous interpreting or whispered interpreting.

Consecutive interpreting

In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter interprets after the speaker has finished speaking, meaning that the speaker and interpreter take turns. If the speeches are long, the interpreter can use note-taking techniques to help them convey even long messages accurately and in detail.

Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting is interpreting at the same time as the speaker is speaking. The interpreter listens to the speaker through the headphones of the interpreting equipment and interprets the speech almost simultaneously to the other participants in the event through wireless headphones. Simultaneous interpreting is extremely challenging and requires intense concentration, but our experienced and professional interpreters will serve you smoothly in these interpreting situations.
